In Boston, NY Rep. Peter King predicts defeat for Syria authorization

US Representative Peter King, a New York Republican, wedged a Boston visit on Friday into his presidential campaign exploration trip to New Hampshire this weekend, and predicted defeat for President Obama's request for congressional authorization of military intervention in Syria. "I intend to vote for it, but I think it's going down," said King, a foreign policy hawk who has said he is pondering a bid for the presidency in 2016.
